Master Rigid Contact Lens Fitting for Keratoconus, Grafted Corneas and Specialty Contact Lens Fitting
- 1. Understand the indications and optical considerations when fitting RGP lenses for keratoconus, post-keratoplasty and which conditions that rigid lenses can be helpful.

Margaret Lam
Margaret Lam graduated from the School of Optometry and Vision Science and completed her Post Graduate qualifications in Ophthalmic Medicines Prescribing from the University of New South Wales. She practices full scope optometry and primary eye care with extensive expertise in specialty contact lens fitting including keratoconus, orthokeratology and all types of corneal ectasia. She has been a past recipient of the Neville Fulthorpe Award for Clinical Excellence.
Aside from full-time work, Margaret is also passionate about teaching and mentoring optometry students. She is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer for the School of Optometry and Vision Science at the University of New South Wales, and mentors Undergraduate and Postgraduate Masters Students in Advanced Contact Lenses.
Margaret has also worked in several advisory roles with leading contact lens companies, and has written for the optometry journal mivision, and has published articles in Australian Optometry. She currently serves as the National President of the Cornea and Contact Lens Society of Australia for NSW and the Optometry Board of Councilors in Optometry Australia for NSW/ACT division.
