About Dr Nikhil Kumar

Dr Nikhil Kumar is a highly experienced, Australian-trained ophthalmologist specialising in cataract, refractive, and corneal surgery. Dr Kumar has also recently joined Nexus Hospitals at Bondi Junction Private Hospital and brings exceptional expertise and patient-centred care to the team. With over a decade of experience as a corneal subspecialist at Liverpool Public Hospital, he is passionate about educating patients, dispelling myths about cataract and laser corrective surgery, and delivering outstanding outcomes.
Dr Kumar consults at Vision Clinic Sydney, a boutique practice specialising in cataract, laser, lens refractive, and cornea care in the Sydney CBD, as well as Narellan Eye Specialists in the Macarthur region. He tailors solutions to each patient’s unique needs, offering options like phakic intraocular lenses and premium intraocular lenses (IOLs) for lens exchange or cataract surgery. An inaugural Fellow of the World College of Refractive Surgery and Visual Sciences, Dr Kumar is dedicated to advancing his field and improving patient outcomes.
