Wanting to boost your clinical skills when it comes to the anterior eye?  Wanting to get more confident in managing your red eye patients? 

Join us in our first clinical skills event for 2022! In collaboration with Nexus Hospitals, we are fortunate to have ophthalmologists Dr. Cheryl Au and Dr. Michael Rossitor-Thornton  lead us in a clinical skills night with a focus on foreign body removal and lacrimal lavage

Dr Cheryl Au is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon, who subspecialises in medical retina. She specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusions and other macular and retinal conditions. Read more of her bio here

Dr. Michael Rossitor-Thornton is an experienced anterior segment and cataract surgeon, and general ophthalmologist. He offers comprehensive care for all aspects of ophthalmic health, including eyelid and corneal disorders, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy and iStent insertion. The night will compose of two clinical sessions, where you will get hands-on experience in foreign body removal and lacrimal lavage, with the guidance of Dr. Au and Dr. Rossitor-Thornton. There will be a break session in between where food and drinks will be provide.

This is not an event you want to miss - we hope the casual atmosphere will empower you to not only build on your clinical skills but to network with your fellow colleagues and Nexus Hospital's ophthalmologists.

A total of 1.5 CPD hours has been applied for this event. . A certificate of attendance will be provided at the conclusion of the event.

Register by Monday 16th of May, spots are very limited so get in quick!


This in-person event abides by COVID-19 safety guidelines. Mask wearing will be required during the event, we encourage you to bring along a KN95 or N95 mask. We also ask that you do not attend the event if you're feeling sick or unwell on the day. Please advise us ASAP by emailing y.optoms@gmail.com.
